A garden, and a gathering place.

East Bentleigh Village Garden began in 2016 when a small group of locals saw an unused corner of Moorleigh Community Village and imagined something greener.

What started as a handful of raised beds has grown into a thriving community space with dozens of members, an orchard, a pollinator patch, and regular workshops that bring neighbours together.

Over the years we have built more than soil — we have built friendships, shared thousands of seedlings and harvests, and created a place where anyone in the community can learn, contribute, and belong.
